Planning for an extraordinary life

When Kristina and I founded Sea Glass Wealth Advisory Group, we had one outcome in mind – to help our clients plan for an extraordinary life.

What does that even look like?

It’s about removing avoidable stresses from life so our clients can focus on what matters to them.  It’s about creating financial learning opportunities for all generations and opening-up important conversations about money.  It’s about advocating for those that have less financial opportunities to improve the quality of life for everyone.  It’s about having an extensive network of top-notch partners to help our clients in all aspects of their lives.  It’s about community and philanthropy.

In its most practical form, it’s about planning.

Planning is a really important part of what we do.  We spend a lot of time getting to know our clients so that we really understand their goals, family dynamics and desired outcomes; then, together, we design a plan to help you get there.

With almost 100 years of cumulative financial experience across the Sea Glass Wealth Advisory Group team members we are well positioned to assist our clients as they navigate the pathways of their financial journeys.

We have an understanding of everything from basic chequing accounts all the way through to very complex investment planning solutions.  We really enjoy planning for families that are looking to transition wealth between generations, and because we’re an all-female advisor team, we tend to meet the women in the family first.  We do, however, involve all family members in planning for the transfer of inter-generational assets.

How will I know if the Sea Glass Advisory team is the right fit for me and my family?

When we meet new people, we always have a first introductory meeting before launching into the planning process.  The first meeting is more a ‘get-to-know you’ session, where we all get an opportunity to decide if we’re a good fit for each other. The second meeting is more detailed and personal, and we always outline any costs that will be involved for our services. There’s no cost to meet with us before a client decides that they’re going to be happy working together.

How do I learn more about various financial planning priorities?

Our team has a passion for financial literacy.  We feel that conversations about money should start in our youth, and continue on openly as we progress throughout our adultgood.  There’s a lot of empowerment in knowledge, so making sure people have access to good information and open dialogue is a priority for us.  In addition to investment planning, Sea Glass Wealth Advisory Group team members hold informational workshops and seminars.  They are often held at Harbourfront Wealth offices, but they are often hosted virtually and can also be off-site at work-places, or in public spaces.

We are looking forward to the opportunity to meet you!  For more information, please feel free to reach out.
